Walk alongside one unaccompanied minor for at least six months. Training and supervision provided.
Commitment
- Minimum 6 months.
- Two mentor / mentee meetings per month, at least.
- Monthly milestone check-in with our coordinator.
- Mandatory child-safeguarding training before activation.
- Background check (we pay for it).
Code of conduct (excerpt)
- Two-deep rule: no one-on-one meetings in non-public spaces without program approval.
- No financial transactions or gifts above a small program-approved threshold.
- All communication through the secure portal whenever possible.
- Confidentiality of the mentee's situation is absolute.
